The Borden Mortuary Group is a full-service mortuary and cremation company providing Funeral Directors with prompt, professional, quality service for over a decade.

Founded in 1995 by Tim Borden, the Borden Mortuary Group is annually Kentucky's largest volume mortuary service. We currently have two locations in Kentucky (Louisville/Lexington) as well as one in Scottsburg, Indiana.

Our staff of 30 employees includes 19 licensed funeral directors and embalmers. Our Louisville office provides cremation services to Funeral Directors only. We have two retorts and a cremation viewing room available for your convenience.

Tim Borden, founder and president of the Borden Mortuary Group

Tim is a graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service.  He is the past chairman of the British Institute of Embalmers, North America division and currently serves on the Board of Directors.   Tim is currently on the crematory operators certification committee for CANA. He is a member of the Funeral Directors Asssociation of Kentucky and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan.
